Introduction to the Albrecht
Methods of Sustainable Agriculture
An intensive 3-day workshop to aid in applying the principles and methods developed by Prof. William Albrecht as tested and proven worldwide. The Albrecht system helps to build, balance and maintain excellent soil fertility - to improve crop quality, thereby increasing yields while helping to decrease pest and disease problems. Either organic or conventional inputs, or a combination of both, may be used for the course. Examples discussed will only include local soil samples that have been analyzed by us, as other testing methods are not applicable and will not provide the same answers.
Based on many years of practical experience working with growers, this course offers valuable information concerning how to improve and manage true soil fertility.
for any type of land - from the basics of using and interpreting a soil test to learning how to identify the effects of depleted or excessive nutrients in your soil. Questions about any aspect of the day's topics are both welcome and encouraged.
Rod Livesay
Rod has 27 years experience working with growers in 30 states as well as Canada.
Conducts on farm side by side studies as well as Randomized Replicated Scientic Research plots at multiple locations across the corn belt.
Leads a team of people who have 40 growers with certied 300+ bushel per acre corn yields and 2 growers with 100+ bushel soybean yields.
Consults with NCGA yield champions who have earned over 500 State contest wins and achieved dozens of National Championships.
Helps those involved in agriculture raise their soil fertility and improve their soil prole by 10-50%.
Reduces overall input cost per bushel of grain by as much as 50 cents a bushel
